30, Flirty & Thriving....

Well so I am now in my 30's! UGH! I'm actually pretty ok with it. I mean you can't stop the inevitable. You make be able to hide age outwardly, but inside you're still the same. I don't really know what 30 is supposed to feel like, but I feel pretty much the same as I did when I was 29. My 80's party was a blast and Pril (her blog is linked in the left corner) took a ton of pictures. I took a bunch too but since I'm stuck in my hotel in Lansing, I haven't had a chance to upload them yet.

Oh Yes LANSING. I'm in Lansing for 5 weeks, although I have to drive home 3 nights a week for school. We had a snow day from school last night so I just holed up in my hotel and got my jammies on and relaxed. It was really nice to have control of the remote!

Steve is taking me to the RODEO for Valentine's Day. We actually never celebrate V day. I think its a waste of money and time. But the Longhorn World Championship just happens to be in town this weekend and I get a super discount from work. Not to mention I've always wanted to see a rodeo in real life. Steve tried last summer and took me to see the one at the Monroe County fair, but it was slow and boring and not ANYTHING like the ones on TV I've grown to be addicted to watching. SO YEE HAW! Real Rodeo here I come! I'll totally have to borrow a cowboy hat for it, but I'm super excited.

PLUS I have Monday off for President's Day. Gotta say I'm loving these bank holidays!

Ok back to my crappy hotel cable and working on homework!
