Well I went in for my rescan on the 14th, and my levels had dropped by about half, and when they scanned the sizes of my follicles the largest one was only 10mm. This meant that my body wasn't responding to the medication. Back to the provera, and waiting on AF. This time I have to go in and get blood work done on CD1 so they have a "base-line." I really want this cycle to work. I mean even if I don't end up pregnant, I would like to have a successful ovulation. Then we know that my body will respond to the clomid/ovidrel. Please pray the increased dosage (150mg) of Clomid actually does its job. I hate the side effects! They make me crazy.
This semester is almost finished and I'm thanking God for the break. I am so burned out from school! The break will be just what I need before I go into my second to last semester!! This weekend we are headed to Kalamazoo for Aj & Adam's bachelorette/bachelor party. I'm pretty excited. It's going to be a blast. I'll remember to take plenty of pictures. I need to get to the store to buy her gift and find out where April found that necklace & foam things. I also need to finish up those bathroom baskets so I can give them to her on Saturday. I hope they turn out ok, since I've never made them before. I'll take pictures and post them on here so you can tell me what you think.

1st Blog about actively trying for a family
So I haven't ever really been direct about our fertility or lack there of. Since Early-Mid 2008 Steve and I have been through about 10,000 tests to figure the whole thing out. We always knew I'd be the issue (since my entire post puberty history has been a mess of irregularity). But to be safe they had to test Steve too. Well he of course was A-OK in that department, so the focus shifted back to me. I was sent for Ultrasounds, HSGs, and finally a diagnosis of a septum uterus solved one problem. Which was actually a problem I didn't know existed until they found it.
So July 1st of this year I had surgery to correct the anomoly. While painful we knew it was one step closer to the "prize" so to speak. It was managable pain and now I feel great. So the next cycle we were clear to start treatment. I wanted to start writing this downso that when (God willing) we do have a little one, we can look back and see how worth it all this was. Also so hopefully others can learn and hopefully not feel so discouraged if they are going through something similar.
So the following is the chronlogical account of what we've done so far in the hopes of having a baby:
November 2007- No more Birth Control
March 2008- Appointment w/ a More Proactive ObGyn
June 2008- Ultrasound (Uterine Anomoly detected)
July 2008- HSG to confirm Uterine Anomoly and diagnosed w/ a Uterine Septum
September 2008- First round of Clomid (50mg,results on CD21 1.2, No ovulation)
October 2008- Second round of Clomid (100mg, results on CD21 .8, No ovulation)
BREAK
June- Pre-op appointment for surgery to Resect Uteran Anomoly
July 1,2009- Surgery (everything went great, septum small-medium size, only Stage 1 Endo under right ovary)
July 1-July 22nd- Estrogen Therapy
July 15th-July 28th- Progesterone
July 29th- CD1
August 11th- CD14 Ultrasound/Bloodwork (Results: Estrogen 61, Lh 7.8
Right Ovary- 13mm,12mm, 10mm, and two 11mm follicles
Left Ovary- 11mm,10mm, two 9mm follicles
Rescan set for Friday August 14th, and hopefully time for Trigger Shot!
Keep us in your prayers!

What I'll put myself through to get this right....
So the weekend was great. We had a few people over on Friday and said goodbye to Sister Sarah's boyfriend who had to go back home to Georgia. Steve and I hung out until the wee hours of the next morning, talking, dancing to Aerosmith and laughing. It was great.
Saturday we were at the Dearborn Inn for Matt & Ani's wedding, which was beautiful and wonderful. We left pretty early, but I loved watching the Armanian dances that Ani & her family did.
Sunday we spent the day in Monroe, on the Raisin River and then headed over to Pointe Moulee. We had a picnic. We took the Beast, and he was EXHAUSTED by the time we go home. Poor puppy!
Wish I had pictures to show, but we are still sans camera. The mill call backs are actually hitting people we know, so hopefully it won't be too much longer before we can fish ourselves out of the poor house.
I started the Clomid on Friday night, and along with it came the NIGHT SWEATS! I can handle the side effects, its part of our life. 100mg isn't much. Its the way I feel the next day. The edginess. The naseausness. THE HOT FLASHES. I'm not even sure what to expect if we get lucky enough to have mature follicles next Tuesday and I'm supposed to give MYSELF the trigger shot. Thankfully our neighbor Carrie (who is an RN and WONDERFUL!) offered to give it to me since I'm a bit leery of doing this to myself.
